We are all aware of the existence of the Theragun Prime. Therabody’s entry-level performance-based massage gun. One of our fan favourites. Well, If you’re fond of the Theragun Gen 5 Prime, then you’ll love its Gen 6 successor, the Theragun Prime Plus.
“Plus?!” Ohh Yes! There is a new member in the Theragun family and the “Plus” line has just expanded. Take a look at this beauty.
Now, let’s cut to the chase and find out what makes this Prime a Plus.
No-stall Force
For starters, “No-stall Force” means the amount of pressure you can apply to a Theragun whilst massaging without the device stopping/stalling.
The Prime’s No-stall Force amounts up to 13.6kg. Uh-huh, already exceptional. Well, to everybody’s surprise, it doesn't stop there. The Prime Plus, on the other hand, has an increase in No-stall Force capacity by about 50%, allowing it to withstand up to 20.4kg of force without stalling!
Oh and bonus fact, the Prime Plus is 95% quieter than the Gen 5 Prime.

Attachment Compatibility
Both the Prime and Plus come with 4 attachments in total. While they share the same amount of attachments, the type of attachments provided as well as the device’s compatibility with certain attachments, differ.

Now, let’s get deeper and discuss compatibility.
The items you see above are only compatible with the Theragun “Plus” line. At the moment, this includes the top-of-the-line Theragun Pro Plus and our newest Prime Plus.
The heat attachment is the only Plus-exclusive attachment that comes with the Prime Plus, while the other two are sold separately. This attachment, specifically, has scientifically been proven to boost warm-up and recovery by threefold.
To further clarify, any other Therabody massage gun without a “Plus” in its name are unfortunately unable to make use of these attachments. This includes the Theragun Prime.
Battery Life
Now comes one of the most frequently asked questions. “What’s the battery life on this thing?”
While both devices possess lithium Ion batteries, they don't necessarily have the same battery life.
The Prime has a battery life of 120 minutes [2 hours]. The Prime Plus, on the other hand, has been equipped with an additional 30 minutes of battery life. This allows the device to last for a maximum of 150 minutes [2h 30 mins] on a single charge, depending on the attachments used.
Although you never had to worry about remembering to charge your Theragun Prime, just know that you’ll worry even less with your Prime Plus.
