JetBoots Prime VS JetBoots

JetBoots Prime VS JetBoots

To JetBoots, or to JetBoots Prime…

While the JetBoots Prime and JetBoots contain several similarities, their differences rally completely different target audiences. The Prime was made with effortless portability in mind while the JetBoots aimed for maximum performance. Let’s take a look at how these 2 compression devices differ.

Build

The most apparent difference between the 2 products are their physical appearances. As is evident, both legs of the JetBoots are separated, kind of like socks. Meanwhile, akin to trousers, the legs of the Prime are connected.

“Why is that?” one might ask. Well, it has to do with the amount of pumps each device possesses. You see, the JetBoots has 2 pumps, one for each leg. The Prime, on the other hand, utilises only one pump for both legs.

In the interest of Portability, the Prime is 1 short of a pump. However, don't fret, both the JetBoots and JetBoots Prime have identical pressure settings. The classic 4 adjustable pressure settings ranging from 25mmHg to 100mmHg, all increasing in intervals of 25.

Efficiency

When it comes to recovery efficiency, the JetBoots dominate while the Prime sits second on the podium. With Therabody’s Fast Flush technology, a full inflation and deflation cycle takes just 60 seconds. What does this mean?

To put it simply:
Quicker inflation/deflation cycle = More cycles per session = Faster recovery

Now, that’s not all. We all know of the Therabody app and how most Therabody devices are able to connect to it via Bluetooth right? Well, while the JetBoots are capable of just that, the Primes aren't.

Battery Life

While both devices, respectively, have a substantial amount of battery life, the JetBoots has a larger capacity than the Prime by an hour with the former being able to last for 120 minutes [4 hours] and the latter, 180 minutes [3 Hours]. Once again, the reason for this is because of the light and compact design of the Prime.

Basically:
Bigger battery = heavier = not as portable.

Price

Alright, this might be the most anticipated comparison point. The “save the best for last” rule was definitely adhered to. Let’s take a look at the pricing of the individual devices:

A hefty Difference indeed. So, not only is the Prime targeted towards travelling athletes, but also towards individuals who are on a budget and are still looking for quality recovery. That $650 gap really makes you think huh…

Here's a side-by-side JetBoots & JetBoots Prime Comparison:

Long story short when it comes to which JetBoots would best suit you best, it really comes down to what’s important to you when it comes to recovery devices and, arguably, the most crucial factor, your budget.

So, are you looking to enhance your recovery game?
