    Do I need to apply anti-fog for every swim?

    Yes — and here’s why. We chose Gorilla® Glass for clarity and long-term durability. But because anti-fog coatings don’t bond permanently to glass, a quick spray is needed before each swim. Day 1 clarity is the same on day 1000.


    Does the anti-fog spray work?

    Yes. We tested all the leading sprays on glass, and found that a simple mix of water and baby shampoo delivered the best anti-fog performance — hands down — with no eye irritation. It works across all conditions: cold water, warm air, long sessions, and high effort.


    Does Smart Swim 2 PRO come with anti-fog spray?

    Yes. It includes a ready-to-use spray (35 swims worth), and a bottle of concentrate for top-ups — enough to last 140 swims.

    What happens if I run out?

    Mix 25% baby shampoo with 75% water. Don’t have baby shampoo handy? You can use other sprays, or even spit to keep your vision clear.

    What safety measures and durability standards do the Smart Swim 2 PRO lenses meet?

    Safety is always a major concern for us. Similar to smartwatches using glass faces, Smart Swim 2 PRO lenses are built to be exceptionally durable. We use Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 for the lenses and have developed a custom lens housing with a protective lip around the edge of the external eye cup, shielding the lens from any impact.

    We’ve tested them to meet the ISO 18527-3:2020 standard, which includes a steel ball (22mm diameter, 43g) being dropped from a height of 1.27 meters. The lenses passed and exceeded this impact test without breaking.

    In addition, unlike tempered glass, our goggles have an anti-shatter film on the lens which, in the unlikely event of a breakage, ensures that small pieces of glass do not fall off.

    Do the goggles work without Premium?

    Yes. FORM goggles work on their own, and Premium is optional. When activating the goggles, you’ll be prompted to start a free Premium trial, which you can cancel at any time in the FORM App.

    That said, the goggles and Premium are designed to work together as the FORM Swim System, with the goggles guiding you in the water, and Premium adding more structure, coaching, insight, and progress over time.

    What does Premium add?

    Premium is the deeper layer of the FORM Swim System. It adds more guidance, more structure, and more progress over time. It’s designed for swimmers who want more support before, during, and after every swim.

    Will they fit my face?

    Yes! The goggles come with 5 interchangeable nose bridges and a fully adjustable strap for a comfortable, leak-free fit.

    Can I use the goggles if I have a prescription?

    If you have vision correction needs, the display can still be seen as it floats out in front of you and you don't need to focus on the metrics to read them. If your prescription is stronger than -2, you may have difficulty seeing the display, however users up to -3 have reported that the display is still visible for them. We recommend trying the goggles out for yourself.

    How do I clean and maintain the goggles?

    Rinse the goggles with fresh water after each use; please DO NOT touch the inside of the lenses. Store them in the protective case provided. Full instructions
    1. Pace is the average time it takes you to swim 100m. In open water, the average pace for your workout is available when paired with a compatible Apple or Garmin watch.
    2. Real-time stroke rate is only available when swimming freestyle. Average stroke rate from your last length is available for all strokes.
