]]>This article will cover the following topics to guide users on how to operate the ONEFit miniwalker:
After you have plugged in the power cord and switched on the power, the remote control is required to power on the miniwalker. Press the "Play" button on the miniwalker and it start running after a countdown of 3 seconds. The starting speed is 1km/h. To increase the speed, press the "+" button, and to reduce, press the "-" button. The remote control can also set your desired duration timer, calories burned, and distance.
The miniwalker is compatible with the FitShow app (Available for Android and iOS). You can use the app to connect to the miniwalker via bluetooth to track your fitness data, control the miniwalker, and train with the courses provided.
When you use the FitShow app for the first time, an account registration is required via email or phone number. After you have signed up, the FitShow app will detect your miniwalker via bluetooth, the treadmill icon will appear and you can connect to it.
The miniwalker is very compact as it measures only 96.2cm in length which makes it easy to store. The miniwalker has an inclination of 5° which helps to make your walking more challenging.
The miniwalker has a panel of LCD screens that display the speed, steps, time, distance, and calories. The step counter is able to detect each step made on the miniwalker.
The miniwalker has a speed range of 1.0km/h to 5km/h. You can adjust the speed +/- 0.1km/h via the remote control or the FitShow app.
Like any treadmill, the miniwalker requires maintenance (minimal) to keep the machine functioning well. The running belt may shift left or right due to our weight impact and it is easy to restore its central position by using the 5mm Allen Wrench provided.
The miniwalker also requires lubricating oil to run the belt smoothly. You may consider adding the oil in 2 scenarios: Firstly when the running belt is not moving smoothly and secondly when the running belt is not moving up at its usual speed or running slower than usual.

]]>In these COVID-stricken times, some Singaporeans are more hesitant when it comes to exercising outdoors. Preferring instead, to exercise indoors with the help of a treadmill.
However, running indoors can be boring and mundane. Facing a concrete wall without any colours, etc. Some put a tablet in-front of them, probably watching a Netflix series whilst running - although, some find that to be distracting and affects their concentration.
Thank goodness we have the Runn™ by North Pole Engineering, the world's first optical speed sensor that makes treadmill training more fun (with the connection to Zwift) as well as more efficient!
Zwift is a Multiplayer Online Application that tracks what you do in the physical world and translate that into a virtual world. Users will be able to create a virtual self and interact with others in Zwift - whilst running of course.
Within this world, you can run together in a group (virtually) formed with people from all over the world. Or, you can meet friends in the virtual world and run together, all from the comfort of your own home.
Runn™ automatically turns your dumb treadmill to a "smart" one. Sitting on your treadmill deck, the sensor reads reflective stickers that you stick directly on your treadmill belt. Whilst running, the sensor continuously tracks the stickers, deducing your speed/pace. This info is then relayed to Zwift from the sensor via Bluetooth. The Runn™ is charged with a micro USB cable.
With the Runn™, your efforts are more accurately represented in Zwift. Increasing your speed on the treadmill will result in near instantaneous changes on Zwift. Whether you're running a 10k or a marathon, the numbers won't lie. Accurate metrics can make the difference when running in a group or placing in a race.
To set up your Runn™ speed sensor, you'll need a treadmill and a device. Follow these instructions to get you set up.
1. Peel off the double-sided adhesives. Stick the adhesive onto the bottom of Runn™ mounting system and place it firmly on the deck of the treadmill
2. Begin placing the reflective stickers on the belt of the treadmill so they pass directly under the optical sensor
3. Turn on the Runn™ and start the treadmill. If the stickers are placed properly, the light will flash when the stickers pass under the optical sensor.
4. Open up Zwift and find your Runn™ device in the pairing screen. Pair the devices together.
5. Enjoy your run!

Theragun was born out of a motorcycle accident. Kind of. Jason Wersland, DC, started working on the idea of the device soon after the accident left him banged up. But the idea of the tool is more far-reaching: Wersland wanted to give people an at-home option for relieving occasional annoyances: muscle soreness, tightness, little aches and pains. He’ll tell you that there’s nothing as satisfying as a full-body massage from a gifted practitioner. But we’ll tell you that the Theragun comes close.
Wersland showed us how to use the Theragun to tackle tech neck and lower-body soreness. Just incorporating a little Theragun action into your everyday routine, he says, can help keep a healthy body feeling fresh, flexible, nimble, and loose.
Whether you’re after a certain spot on the body or an end-of-day release for your whole system, Wersland has just five steps for you:
Turn on the Theragun without putting it on your body. That may seem like a minor thing, but it’s important for better control. And resting the Theragun on your muscle and then turning it on can be a little jarring.
Rest the Theragun on your body. Don’t add any pressure. Just let it float.
Glide the Theragun along the muscle. Move slowly—about an inch a second or slower.
If you hit a knot or an area of tension, let the Theragun rest on that spot—without adding additional pressure—for a few moments before moving on.
Breathe: nice long inhales and exhales. And feel the relief.
